Job Overview A law firm seeks a Consumer Financial Services Senior Counsel for their Kansas City, MO office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of experience in federal consumer finance laws and state licensing, lending, servicing, collections, payments, or fintech regulation. Duties Provide legal counsel on federal consumer finance laws and state licensing. Manage complex legal matters and supervise legal teams. Interact with state or federal regulators. Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit. Requirements Minimum of eight years of relevant experience. Strong writing, client counseling, and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure. Active bar license in the state of the office location or commitment to obtain one. Education Excellent academic credentials. Certifications Active bar license in the relevant state. Skills Superior interpersonal skills. Exceptional judgment and legal strategy articulation. Proactive and dynamic approach.
