Position Summary
IQ Fiber is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Direct Sales Advisor to bring fast, reliable fiber-optic internet service to residential communities across the Jacksonville, FL area. This role serves as the local face of IQ Fiber in assigned fiberhoods, conducting door-to-door canvassing, participating in community events, and converting residents into IQ Fiber customers through honest, transparent, and consultative sales interactions. A company vehicle is provided for travel within assigned territories.

This is a highly active, field-based individual contributor role that requires daily presence in the fiberhood. Success depends on self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to consistently meet or exceed defined sales quotas while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct daily door-to-door sales activities within assigned fiberhoods to promote IQ Fiber broadband services and establish IQ Fiber as the provider of choice.
• Engage residents face-to-face to introduce IQ Fiber's services, deliver the standard sales presentation, and generate new customer orders entered into internal systems.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and market penetration goals.
• Educate residents on the differences between IQ Fiber and competing providers to support informed purchase decisions.
• Follow up with newly activated customers to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in community events, fiberhood marketing initiatives, and promotional outreach to drive service awareness and grow the customer base.
• Monitor the competitive landscape within assigned territory to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Represent IQ Fiber professionally and build trust and credibility within local communities.
• Maintain a steady sales pipeline through consistent field activity and proactive follow-up on leads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum age of 21.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales, door-to-door, or fiberhood marketing; telecommunications experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of sales fundamentals and sales process management.
• Valid driver's license; must pass driver's license, background, and drug screening checks.
• Ability to travel locally within the assigned sales territory and operate a company vehicle safely for extended periods.
• Ability to conduct door-to-door canvassing, which constitutes approximately 70–80% of work time, including extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and wireless equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• Ability to demonstrate an energetic, friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor in every interaction.

What Success Looks Like

• Daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and fiberhood penetration goals are consistently met or exceeded.
• Residents are confidently educated on IQ Fiber's services, the standard sales presentation is delivered effectively, and qualified households are converted to new customer orders.
• IQ Fiber is represented as a trusted local ambassador — professional, honest, and transparent in every community interaction.
• A steady sales pipeline is maintained through consistent field activity, including door knocking, events, outbound calling, and timely lead follow-up.
• Lasting community relationships are built, and customer feedback and competitive insights are proactively shared to improve results and the customer experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk door-to-door for approximately 70–80% of a shift while canvassing residential neighborhoods.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions while canvassing assigned fiberhoods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while engaging residents at doorsteps and community events.
• Ability to carry a laptop, tablet, or wireless sales equipment while canvassing door-to-door throughout a shift.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods while traveling within an assigned territory.
