Exciting opportunity for an experienced ER RN to join a high-volume Emergency Department in Downey, CA!

Position Details

• Start/Orientation Dates: 8/6 or 8/20
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Schedule: 3 x 12s
• Shift: Nights
• Float: None
• On Call: None
• RTO: No summertime RTO will be approved
• Local travelers accepted
• Approximately 2 weeks/10 business days required for credentialing

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• ACLS, BLS & PALS
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred, not required
• Must be comfortable in a very busy, high-acuity ER and able to jump in with a strong sense of urgency
• Skills checklist scores must be 3.0+
• COVID vaccination not required

ER Overview

• High-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department
• 80-bed ER
• Approximately 300–400 patient census
• Cases include trauma, gunshot/stab wounds, motor vehicle accidents, and other emergency conditions
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong ER assessment and prioritization skills
• Epic EMR
• Navy blue scrubs
• Onsite parking

Travel Pay

Estimated Gross Weekly: $2,960

• Regular Pay: $25/hr x 24 hours = $600
• Overtime: $37.50/hr x 12 hours = $450
• Total Taxable: $1,050/week
• Weekly Stipend: $1,910
• Estimated Gross Weekly: $2,960
