Enterprise Data Architect

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in enterprise data architecture and information architecture.

• Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and canonical data modeling alongside Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.

• Experience with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, AWS, and Azure.

• Experience in enterprise data governance, data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management.

• Experience with designing API-first data products, semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and AI-ready data models.

• Experience in data security, privacy controls, and regulatory compliance standards for sensitive datasets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define conceptual, logical, and canonical data models to establish enterprise information architecture standards.

• Design reusable data products, schemas, and API-first interfaces to prevent data duplication across systems.

• Architect data warehouse and data mart solutions utilizing Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, and cloud services.

• Establish data governance frameworks including data catalogs, lineage tracking, observability, and quality standards.

• Formulate data migration strategies and target-state data architectures for legacy system modernization initiatives.

• Implement semantic layers and knowledge graphs to ensure enterprise information assets are suitable for AI use cases.

• Partner with product engineering and security teams to embed data classification, privacy, and regulatory controls by design.
