As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Team in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative workplace.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing required reports related to security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
