As an Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily store operations while supporting and developing our team members to achieve their best performance.Responsibilities include overseeing and managing daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards; leading, motivating, and mentoring team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high morale; delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction; managing cash handling, financial transactions, and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and transparency; training, developing, and supporting new and existing team members through coaching and constructive feedback; maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations; processing customer orders promptly and accurately while managing phone communications; collaborating with the Store Manager to implement company policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives; analyzing inventory levels, managing stock control, and contributing to cost optimization efforts; developing and managing staff schedules to meet business needs while considering team member availability and preferences; making sound, decisive decisions in high-pressure situations while remaining calm and focused; fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and positive work culture that celebrates team achievements; and monitoring performance metrics and providing analytical insights to support continuous improvement.Qualifications include proven experience in restaurant, food service, or retail management with demonstrated success in a supervisory or assistant management role; strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide diverse team members; excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor and empathetic approach; proficiency in cash handling, financial management, and basic accounting principles; competency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and proficiency in basic computer applications; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, sound decisions; excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly; exceptional organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously; physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods; flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and budget awareness; experience with staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and performance management; familiarity with health, safety, and compliance standards in food service operations; high school diploma or equivalent; additional management training or certification is preferred; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and demonstrate inclusive leadership.Additional Information: The good news is we can teach you how to answer the phone and make a perfect pizza.
