• 16,000 cases per year
• Most cases are orthopedic - total hips, knees, and shoulders
• Facility is open Monday-Friday
• No weekends
• No call
• No holidays
• Team environment - anesthesiologists medically direct CRNAs
• Many ortho cases are done requiring multiple peripheral nerve blocks for postop pain management
• 15+ operating rooms
• Cases start around 7a-7:30a and they work to have all patients in the Recovery Room by 4:30p
• Providers rotate through the later days
