Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and academic success for the 26/27 school year. This position offers flexibility in scheduling during regular school hours (8:00 am – 3:15 pm), with elementary campuses dismissing earlier. You’ll play a crucial role across all grade levels, providing speech and language services to a manageable caseload of 15-20 students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Candidates may be licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) holding CCC or CFY credentials, or in-person Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). SLPAs would focus mainly on elementary students and collaborate under the direct guidance of an experienced SLP.

Qualifications:

• Valid credentials/licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA in the state
• Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working with Pre-K–12 populations
• Familiarity with IEPs, assessment procedures, and individualized intervention planning
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to a diverse student group and dynamic educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to students on your assigned caseload
• Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans addressing communication disorders
• Maintain accurate student records and document progress
• Collaborate closely with education professionals, families, and support staff
• SLPA applicants will carry out therapy under SLP supervision, focusing mainly on elementary students
