As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you’ll use your skills, empathy, and professionalism to deliver consistent, high-quality care that strengthens the lives of our clients and their families.We are seeking dependable, CNA-level experienced caregivers who can confidently support clients throughout Cheyenne and the surrounding areas.What You’ll Do:As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity, independence, and trust. On a typical day, you will:Build meaningful relationshipsInitiate friendly, engaging conversations that make clients feel heard and valued.Participate in clients’ preferred activities—such as gardening, scrapbooking, or playing games—to encourage social engagement.Support daily living with professionalismAssist clients with walking, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and other personal care tasks while maintaining their comfort and safety.Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support safe eating routines.Promote safety and independenceObserve clients’ mobility, behavior, and physical or cognitive changes and report concerns promptly through our communication app.Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each client's daily needs.Maintain accurate documentationUse the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out, record completed tasks, and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner.Contribute to a positive team environmentCommunicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care.Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to demonstrate these behaviors consistently:Personal CareProvide safe assistance with bathing, mobility, transfers, positioning, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, medication reminders, feeding, and dressing.Assist clients with all care plan ADLs and IADLsSafely transfer and position clients, including repositioning a client in an occupied bedProvide care for hospice clients and clients at end of lifeSupport clients with a variety of diagnoses, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke, and ALSObserve, document, and report changes in physical or mental condition to supervisors immediatelyProvide companionship and protective oversightTransport clients safely by vehicleCompanionship & Household SupportEngage clients in conversation and recreation.Prepare light meals, perform light housekeeping, manage laundry, assist with shopping and errands, and provide incidental transportation.Help clients maintain an organized and comfortable home environment.Why You’ll Love Working With Senior HelpersWe value and support our caregivers through:Great Place to Work® Certification: 91% of employees say Senior Helpers is a great place to work.Growth Opportunities: Access ongoing training to strengthen personal care skills, communication skills, and career development.Work/Life Balance: We collaborate with caregivers to create schedules that support their needs.Strong Team Culture: You’ll be part of a team that provides guidance, encouragement, and recognition.Meaningful Impact: You directly influence the quality of life for clients and provide peace of mind to their families.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.At least one year of professional CNA-level caregiving experience.18 years of age or older.Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S.Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts.Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling, communication, and documentation.Must be available for at least 15 to 25 hours a week to take on client shiftsWho We AreSenior Helpers provides non-medical, in-home support to help older adults age with dignity and independence.
