Position Overview

Step away from the retail counter! We are looking for an organized, detail-driven Mail Order Pharmacist to join a fast-paced central fill facility in Columbus. In this role, you'll focus on high-volume prescription verification and telephonic clinical consultations in a structured, non-retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Verification: Perform final clinical reviews on high-volume prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosing, drug safety, and accuracy.

• Telephonic Patient Care: Educate patients over the phone on medication regimens, drug interactions, and adherence strategies.

• Prescriber Engagement: Partner with physicians and clinical staff to resolve drug therapy issues, clarify orders, and secure authorizations.

• Technician Supervision: Direct pharmacy technicians managing automated dispensing, packaging, and fulfillment workflows.

• Quality Assurance: Uphold strict quality control, state/federal regulations, and speed/accuracy performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist license.

• Experience: 1–2 years in central fill, mail order, call center, or high-volume retail preferred.

• Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with strong typing speed and comfort navigating multi-screen pharmacy software systems.

• Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills.
