What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity verifying credentials directing visitors and reporting unusual behavior and/or policy violations.
• Document incidents patrol activity and observations in clear reports and communicate with supervisors staff and first responders regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
