Description

American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy Technician with 2+ years of experience and advanced procedure skills for a long-term assignment at a hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Work in the hospital's Endoscopy Unit
• 4x10 AM shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement of 3 weekdays plus one weekend per month
• Case mix includes GI bleed, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon screening, gastritis, melena, and diverticulosis
• Experience with advanced procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, EUS, and ERCP required
• Utilizes Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy Technician experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Assist with advanced GI and pulmonary procedures alongside physicians and nursing staff
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
• Former Emory employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when it does
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
