We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to support leased datacenter projects. This role involves assisting the Lease Construction Manager (LCM) in managing schedules, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression to full LCM responsibilities, focusing on project execution and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Track project milestones, RFS dates, and early access requirements.
• Visit project job sites weekly to assess progress against the schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and update dashboards for progress reporting.
• Monitor task completion and identify potential risks or delays.
• Support sequencing for RNI early access activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams (ITIM, Security) and external lease providers under LCM guidance.
• Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and follow-up communications.
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety standards and reporting requirements.
• Assist with compliance audits and documentation reviews.
• Monitor budgets and validate invoices against approved scopes.
• Track lease partner deliverables and escalate discrepancies.
• Learn and apply company tools (Power BI) for reporting and automation.
• Contribute to improving workflows and reducing risks.

• 8-12 years of experience in construction project management.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and structured cabling basics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn Power BI and automation tools.
• Education in engineering and construction is preferred.

• Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Interest in career progression to full LCM responsibilities.
• Collaboration and teamwork focus must be a top priority.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.

This position is based in Northern Virginia, requiring a hybrid work schedule with four days a week onsite. The daily schedule is Monday through Friday, with an estimated 50-hour work week. Necessary equipment such as a laptop, mouse, keyboard, and headset will be provided, along with basic personal protective equipment (steel-toed boots, vest, hard hat, gloves).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, VA.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ashburn,VA.
