Supply Chain Analyst

A Supply Chain Analyst ensures efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods by analyzing data, optimizing processes, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Essential Functions

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, forecast inventory needs, and support decision-making
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
• Monitor supplier performance and enforce compliance with quality standards, including negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
• Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, operations, sales, and IT to align supply chain strategies with business objectives
• Track and manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock
• Prepare reports and dashboards on supply chain performance, including delivery times, transportation costs, and inventory metrics
• Lead or participate in supply chain optimization projects , such as warehouse layout improvements or new distribution strategies

Role Requirements

• Analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data and identify trends
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools , including ERP systems (SAP preferred), Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas), and data visualization tools
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address supply chain challenges efficiently
• Communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields; a master’s degree can be advantageous
• Experience : Typically 2+ years in supply chain analysis or a related role; internships or project experience may also be considered
• Certifications (optional but beneficial): Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Environmental Restrictions

• Ability to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites.
• Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain.
