Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled OB RN Labor & Delivery to monitor maternal and fetal well-being, manage labor progression, and assist with deliveries. The position requires flexibility to float to the Med Surg floor when OB services are unavailable, ensuring continuity of patient care across departments.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Monitor maternal and fetal conditions to ensure safety and well-being.
  
  
• 
  Manage labor progression and assist healthcare providers during deliveries.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies with clinical judgment and proficiency.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, interpret fetal monitor strips, and prepare patients for operative deliveries.
  
  
• 
  Perform cervical exams within scope and provide postpartum education to patients.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive birth experiences and optimal outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid Montana RN license.
  
  
• 
  Hold current NRP, BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
  
  
• 
  Show ability to float to Med Surg unit as needed.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical judgment, communication, and emotional support skills.
