Description Distinctive Home & Health Care is a leading provider of healthcare to serve military installations across the United States. We are seeking to hire a full‑time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse at Minot Air Force Base. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (or bachelor’s degree (BSN) from an accredited nursing program). Minimum three years of experience with psychopharmacological agents, including knowledge of their desired effects, side effects, complications, and accurate administration. Certified or certification eligible by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse with at least two years of full‑time experience in mental health. Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license as required in the TO. Core Duties Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF. Perform physical examinations and health history assessments. Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions. Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals. Allocate patient care assignments based on scope of practice and skill level of personnel. Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and respond promptly in emergency situations. Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people to inform the healthcare team of plans and actions, and to provide teaching and education for the benefit of patients, families, and the organization. Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate. Perform nursing services identified in the TO. Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
