Registered Nurse - SCU/IMCLocation: Damariscotta, MaineAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Shifts available: 6a - 6p or 6p - 6aJob Description: The SCU (Step Down Care Unit) is not an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and does not include vented patients. The unit rarely administers drips. Experienced telemetry nurses are well-suited for this role in an intermediate community access hospital that caters to telemetry, med-surg, and critical care patients. The facility is looking for RNs with telemetry or med-surg/tele experience from larger organizations for their heightened skill set.Responsibilities:Monitor and assess telemetry, med-surg, and critical care patients.Administer medications and manage patient care.Occasional floating to Med-Surg Unit as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including travel experience.Current RN license.Experience with vasoactive drips, ventilators preferred.Benefits:Specific benefits for this position are not listed; please inquire for more details.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
