Job Description
Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist assignment for a 13-week contract working 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role includes significant call responsibilities, with approximately 15 call shifts per month and 2 full weekends of call. The CVOR Tech will assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe operating environment. This position requires strong technical skills, teamwork, and the ability to function effectively in high-acuity surgical settings.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of CVOR Surgical Tech experience

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program OR 5 consecutive years of surgical tech experience

CVOR experience required

BLS certification required

NBSTSA certification preferred

LPN with at least 1 year surgical tech experience preferred

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures

Ability to work in a high-pressure operating room environment

Two supervisory references required at submission
