Diehl Collision of Bellevue is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer / Collision Center Detail Technician to join our team in Bellevue, Pennsylvania!

Automotive Detailer Responsibilities

As a Collision Center Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery following collision repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Wash and thoroughly clean vehicle exteriors following collision repairs.

• Vacuum and detail vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and interior surfaces.

• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and exterior trim.

• Remove dust, dirt, polishing residue, and other contaminants from repaired vehicles.

• Perform automotive buffing, polishing, and light paint correction as needed.

• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and appearance before customer delivery.

• Remove minor surface imperfections and overspray when appropriate.

• Assist with wet sanding and buffing when qualified.

• Clean door jambs, engine compartments, and other vehicle areas as needed.

• Safely move vehicles throughout the collision center and parking areas.

• Assist collision technicians and painters with vehicle preparation when needed.

• Maintain detailing equipment, cleaning supplies, and work areas.

• Follow proper procedures for handling automotive cleaning chemicals and detailing products.

• Work with collision center management to ensure vehicles are ready for scheduled customer pickup.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning experience preferred.

• Experience in a collision center, auto body shop, or automotive dealership is a plus.

• Knowledge of automotive cleaning products and detailing equipment.

• Experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction is preferred.

• Familiarity with wet sanding and automotive refinishing preparation is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive environment.

• Ability to safely operate and move customer vehicles.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and working around vehicles.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
