Palliative Medicine Physician

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System located in Spartanburg, SC currently has an opening for a fulltime, board certified Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician to join the Palliative Care and Hospice teams of Spartanburg Regional. This physician will work alongside two physicians, six advanced care practitioners, nurses, chaplains, social workers, and administration to provide palliative care in the community and in specialized office based practice as well as inpatient consultation. This position requires flexibility due to the patient load and demands of the program. Attend IDT meetings After-hours and weekend on call (phone call only) no more than 1/4 rotation Weekend coverage for inpatient hospice home no more than 1/4 rotation Patient related administrative duties Must be flexible due to patient load and demands of program PSLF approved institution Exceptional compensation package including: $6,000 annual CME allowance Retirement options Paid Malpractice Relocation expenses For nearly 15 years, Spartanburg Regional has fostered a strong palliative care service that has grown to serve patients throughout our system and community.
