Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Dialysis unit. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the nursing process and demonstrate expertise in providing high-quality patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures, as well as state laws.
• Document patient care activities according to established standards of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician, including instruction for patient and family.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments in support of the patients' longitudinal plan of care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and appropriately escalate concerns through the proper chain of command.
