Our Miami Headquarters is seeking a Design Manager with a minimum of 8 years of architectural work experience to join our team. Position Overview As a Design Manager at Arquitectonica, you will manage several projects in the design phases and may lead one or more design teams. You will be client-facing, taking part in project presentations and managing deliverables to meet project requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with Design Principals and Leadership to prepare and develop design presentations for clientsManage project team(s) to prepare and finalize project designsAct as a client point of contact, attending all client meetings and managing client communicationsDevelop project workplans within the schedules and fees, providing on-time deliverables within the project budgetMonitor project schedule, deliverables, deadlines, staffing coverage, meeting schedule, billing and invoices, flagging any concerns with leadershipMentor interns and junior staff, encouraging professional developmentCommunicate professionally, thoroughly, and articulately with clients, consultants, and staffMaintain a positive and proactive problem-solving approach with all stakeholdersWith a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of zoning and building codes, continuously confirm project designs meet complex project requirementsQualifications and AttributesUndergraduate degree in architecture or related design field, master's degree in architecture preferredLicensed architect preferred8 years of continuous work experience, including experience in Multi-Family Residential and Commercial projectsStrong design ability with creative visionAbility to work and problem-solve independently, as well as collaborate with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds positive relationshipsStrong communication skills with the ability to present design ideas and project needs to clientsAbility to work on multiple projects, maintaining attentive client interactionsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport for international travel, if necessaryEmployee Benefits OfferedMedical, dental, vision, and Aflac supplemental insuranceFlexible Spending and Dependent Care accounts401k programPre-tax transit programsPaid time off on accrual basis + holidaysArchitectural licensure supportAIA Membership dues supportCompensation Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and abilities.
