Staff Accountant

Pay is based on experience within a range of $32.21 ($67k) - $35.58 ($74k). Full time, hourly, and benefit eligible. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with the monthly close process. Create financial statements and reports, generate and maintain records, and manage general ledger accounts. Assist with the recording of revenue, cash receipts, and receivable accounts – including providing support to the Revenue Cycle Management (billing and claims) department. Assist with the processing and recording of invoices, accruals, prepaids, and payments to vendors. Research program and account variances to provide in‑depth insight on the identification, explanation, and correction as appropriate. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for organizational assets and liabilities. Meeting processing and reporting deadlines. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master’s Degree and/or Professional Certifications are not required, but a plus. 4 to 6 years of accounting experience preferred. Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook. High level of trust and dependability. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to clearly present and explain complicated information to diverse audiences. Take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and be able to work independently.
