Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Provide intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for neonates experiencing lifethreatening conditions; support Level III or Level IV NICU designation per AAP guidance.
- Document assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams; engage families in education and care planning.
- Maintain safety and infection control practices, administer medications per policy, and respond to neonatal emergencies as needed.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice nursing (California) or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Neonatal ICU (NICU) nursing experience or strong neonatal critical care exposure.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity NICU environment.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, strong communication, and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfort working in a Level III/IV NICU designation setting and adhering to evidence-based standards of care.
