Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour
Position Overview
A global technology firm seeks a Senior Ab Initio Developer for a six-month onsite contract in Dallas, Texas. This role designs and builds high-performance data integration and ETL solutions for enterprise data platforms in complex, high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio graphs and workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with data architects to define pipeline design patterns and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in production and development environments
- Document technical specifications, data flows, and operational runbooks
- Support data quality validation and reconciliation processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience
- Strong ETL and data integration background in enterprise environments
- Experience working with large-scale, high-volume data platforms
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ab Initio EME (Enterprise Meta Environment)
- Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-native equivalents)
- Exposure to data warehouse or data lake architectures
