Audiology Technician

Audiology TechPalmetto ENT & Allergy is now hiring for an Audiology Tech to join our growing audiology department. The Audiology tech will work under the supervision of the Audiologists in the delivery of services to our patients.Duties include, but are not limited to:Verify insuranceUpdate patient information in NextGenSchedule hearing aid appointments for all officesChart review including making sure referrals are in chart if neededCall patients to pick up hearing aidsCheck hearing aids dropped offCheck in hearing aids returning from manufacturerPerform hearing aid repairs and cleaningsExecute all paperwork associated with purchases, repairs, and returns of hearing aids.Provide orientation educationAll Bluetooth troubleshootingStock supplies and report to director supplies neededWipe down equipment daily and troubleshoot when necessaryQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED certification required. Post high school courses in business, data processing and medical terminology preferred.Six months prior experience in customer service required. Six months experience in medical office reception preferred. Must show maturity when dealing with fellow employees. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential in addition to excellent listening skills. Must be able to operate a personal computer.Full benefits- after waiting period
