Job Description And Duties The Accounting Disbursements Bureau is recruiting a motivated self-starter looking for a challenging, exciting, and friendly working environment with a variety of work assignments at the Student Assistant level in the County Payments Unit. This position learns to interpret appropriate disbursement rules, regulations, and established procedures, as well as invoicing, validating, and scheduling of payments to counties and vendors. This position also works closely with California Department of Social Services staff and control agencies. The Department of Social Services does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.
