Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) located in an acute care hospital setting. This position involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, supporting recovery from surgeries, injuries, and medical conditions. The role requires delivering patient-centered care, patient family education, and collaborative treatment planning in a fast-paced hospital environment. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid state license required; BLS certification required; a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred; experience specifically with adult and geriatric patient populations is highly desired. Schedule: Dayshift; 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, assist with patient mobility and functional independence, and document care in the electronic charting system (Epic preferred). Special Requirements: Experience with acute care, home exercise programs, lifting and transfers, patient and family education, and a range of medical conditions including COPD, CHF, MI, post-surgical rehabilitation (e.g., THA, TKA, CABG). Additional Notes: Candidates must submit two recent references covering at least one year; candidates who have worked at a similar facility before should include previous locations and dates. Flexibility for accommodating block schedules may be available at the manager's discretion. Candidates must include their RTO requests and confirm their ability to work scheduled holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
