Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will have recent ER experience and possess the necessary certifications and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patients’ conditions upon arrival to ensure prompt and effective care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintain current certifications and licensure, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid nursing license issued by the state of assignment.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, including travel assignments preferred.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Capable of working in a high-stress environment with flexibility in scheduling.
• Experienced with block scheduling; previous staff members are not eligible for traveler positions.
