Line Operator - Electrical

Are you a licensed Journeyman Electrician looking for a stable, high-paying industrial operations role? We are seeking a Line Operator - Electrical to operate, monitor, and maintain our advanced manufacturing production and sample lines.

In this role, you will combine your mechanical aptitude with your electrical expertise to keep our automated lines running safely and efficiently. You will self-perform operator-level electrical work and troubleshooting under the oversight of a licensed Master Electrician, in full compliance with Texas state law.

Key Responsibilities

• Line Operation: Run production and sample line equipment according to tight operational specifications and schedules.
• Electrical & Mechanical Care: Perform routine operator-level checks, preventive maintenance, and electrical diagnostics.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve minor mechanical and electrical machine issues proactively to minimize production downtime.
• Quality Control: Execute QA/QC procedures to verify product conformity and maintain consistent quality output.
• Data & Logging: Keep accurate, detailed records of production, maintenance, and operational log data.
• Safety & Shift Work: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and safety protocols while working assigned shifts (including rotating shifts).

What We Are Looking For

• Licensing: An active Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by the TDLR is strictly required and must be maintained in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or equipment operation is preferred. Experience in stone, engineered quartz, or heavy-materials manufacturing is a plus.
• Education: High school diploma, technical diploma, or GED required.
• Safety & Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and pass a respiratory FIT test.
• Special Requirement: No facial hair permitted due to strict respiratory PPE and fit-testing requirements.

Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Operate Line equipment according to operational specifications and production guidelines.
• Operate Samples Line equipment and support sample production schedules.
• Execute QA/QC procedures to verify product conformity.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE, LOTO, and internal safety protocols.
• Work assigned shifts based on facility operational requirements (including rotating shifts).
• Maintain consistent quality and production output per specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisors of abnormalities.
• Perform routine operator-level mechanical and electrical checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor machine/electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Record production, maintenance, and operational log data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and uphold environmental compliance standards.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with shift teams and supervisors.

The essential functions of this role include:
