Veterinary Technician - Critical Care / ICU

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brandon, Fl is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to work in our busy Critical Care department and ICU. We are now offering a Sign-On Bonus for up to $1,500 for qualified applicants! Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. As a Critical Care Technician, you will: Triage and obtain patient history Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines. Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases Perform advanced nursing procedures Have attention to detail in caring for very sick and critically injured patients, and recognize clinical improvement and decline. Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
