Industrial Maintenance Technician

Opportunity Summary

Our client is a growing production and quality-assurance operation that relies on precision equipment to process and protect valuable items for its customers. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is a great fit for a hands-on maintenance technician who wants to build long-term stability with a company that invests in its equipment, its processes, and its people.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ultrasonic welders, RF welders, laser cutters with filtration systems, air compressors, deionizing air guns, photographic camera systems, and heat sealers
• Diagnose and resolve unplanned equipment issues quickly to minimize production downtime
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build and track preventative maintenance schedules
• Support machine upgrades, testing, and installation of new equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and help implement operator-led maintenance best practices

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a maintenance technician
• Hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work around machinery noise

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a mechanic, service technician, or machinist
• Associate's degree in Machining, Welding Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance Technology
• Basic computer skills (email, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office)
