Responsibilities

• Provide

  root
  
  
  planing,

  assessments.
• Educate
  
  
  patients
  
  
  on
  
  
  oral
  
  
  health,
  
  
  treatment
  
  
  recommendations,
  
  
  and
  
  
  preventive
  
  
  care.
• Perform
  
  
  oral
  
  
  cancer
  
  
  screenings
  
  
  and
  
  
  contribute
  
  
  to
  
  
  comprehensive
  
  
  patient
  
  
  care.
• Take
  
  
  digital
  
  
  radiographs
  
  
  and
  
  
  intraoral
  
  
  scans
  
  
  as
  
  
  needed.
• Utilize
  
  
  clinical
  
  
  judgment
  
  
  to
  
  
  identify
  
  
  treatment
  
  
  needs
  
  
  and
  
  
  help
  
  
  patients
  
  
  understand
  
  
  the
  
  
  benefits
  
  
  of
  
  
  recommended
  
  
  care.
• Partner

Qualifications

• Active
  
  
  Tennessee
  
  
  dental
  
  
  hygiene
  
  
  license

  obtain).

  graduates

  encouraged

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
