ABOUT OUR AGENCY: Our agency opened in 2006 and has grown into a thriving team of 19 across multiple offices. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked with State Farm in communications and public affairs, which helped shape my leadership style and commitment to serving both our customers and our community.

I'm a graduate of Florida A&M University, where I earned my degree magna cum laude, and I'm proud that my family represents five generations at FAMU. I'm a Million Dollar Round Table qualifier and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. A fun fact about me: I once won The Price Is Right! I'm also honored to be the first and only African American woman to operate three State Farm offices.

Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are. I'm actively involved as a Platinum member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a member of the Hallandale Chamber of Commerce, part of The Links, Inc. (Miami-Biscayne Bay Chapter), and serve on the Board of the Florida A&M Foundation.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Lakitsia Gaines - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
