Director, Global Master Data Management & Data Governance

Director-level position overseeing global master data management policy, quality standards, and governance infrastructure for the Orthopaedics business. Responsible for strategic alignment of data systems across commercial, supply chain, R&D, and corporate functions, with leadership of MDM teams and cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously assess the global master data management data landscape and harmonization needs
Lead assessment and management of MDM systems landscape across the organization
Provide leadership, mentorship, and skill development to MDM team members
Establish metrics and drive process improvements across MDM domains
Partner with internal teams to define requirements and resolve data capability deficiencies

Requirements

Extensive experience in master data management strategy and governance
Proven leadership of technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong understanding of enterprise data warehouses and data lake architectures
Experience with data quality standards, metrics, and process improvement
Knowledge of commercial, supply chain, R&D, and enterprise systems integration
Ability to make independent decisions and present recommendations to senior IT leadership
