IT TechnicianCrain Automotive Little Rock, AR 72223Crain Automotive is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and proactive IT Technician to support our growing network of automotive dealerships. This position provides both onsite and remote technical support to dealership employees and assists with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, networks, software, phones, printers, and other technology systems.The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with both people and technology. Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but we are primarily looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and dealership-specific hardwareInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations, applications, and peripheralsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and network-related issuesCreate and maintain user accounts, permissions, and system accessSupport dealership DMS, CRM, and other business applicationsAssist with network equipment, wireless connectivity, and basic network troubleshootingDocument, track, and resolve support requests through the IT ticketing systemMaintain accurate IT documentation, procedures, equipment records, and inventoryAssist with hardware deployments, equipment upgrades, technology projects, and system auditsWork with third-party vendors and support providers when necessary to resolve technical issuesTravel to dealership locations as needed to provide onsite supportPerform other technology-related duties as assignedQualifications1–3 years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical experienceStrong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardwareBasic understanding of TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshootingExperience with Microsoft 365, user administration, and remote support tools preferredFamiliarity with automotive dealership systems such as Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar platforms is a plusAbility to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems efficientlyStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindsetSelf-motivated, organized, dependable, and able to work independentlyAbility to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and ability to travel between dealership locations as neededBenefitsCompetitive payAffordable health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife insurancePaid time offOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentAbout Crain AutomotiveThe Crain Automotive Team is Arkansas' largest family-owned and operated dealer group.
