Compensation: The pay range for this position is $120,000-$135,000 annually.

The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic, trusted partner to site leadership at our client's manufacturing facility in Wellsville, PA. With 50 years in the industry, our client operates with a purpose-driven, growth-oriented culture. Success in this role means an engaged workforce, developed leaders, and HR programs that directly enable operational and business outcomes across employee relations, talent, compensation, compliance, and organizational development.

As an HR Business Partner , you will:

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, providing guidance across employee relations, training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, and organizational design
• Manage employee relations by maintaining a visible, open-door presence on the production floor, resolving concerns, and coaching supervisors and managers through corrective actions and performance conversations
• Partner with leadership on succession planning and workforce strategy — identifying high-potential talent, developing leaders from within, and aligning people plans with business growth
• Lead site talent acquisition, including field marketing events, candidate interviewing and selection, background checks, post-offer processes, and coordination of temporary staffing with corporate Talent Acquisition and Operations
• Own the onboarding experience end-to-end, including safety orientations, employment documentation, culture introduction, and 15-, 45-, and 90-day stay interviews to drive retention
• Manage the site performance review cycle, working independently with supervisors and managers to calibrate performance and execute compensation events
• Develop, administer, and communicate HR policies, ensuring consistency and fairness and driving adherence to federal, state (OH & PA), and local employment law
• Maintain the HRIS and HR records to meet management information needs, monitor legislative and industry trends, and support Total Rewards on wage competitiveness, benefits enrollment, and health insurance claim resolution
• Administer wellness, engagement, and preferred employer initiatives — including employee roundtables, wellness committee participation, and company events
• Administer quarterly random substance abuse testing in accordance with policy
• Lead cross-functional HR projects with the HR Working Group and internal and external stakeholders, driving timelines and deliverables to successful completion

As an HR Business Partner , you have:

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 5+ years in an HR leadership role
• Experience supporting or growing a manufacturing facility
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law, with particular familiarity with Ohio and Pennsylvania regulations
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations, organizational development, coaching, hourly compensation, training, change management, and HR program implementation
• Proven ability to influence leaders at all levels of the organization and build trusted relationships that deliver results
• Strong project management, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills, with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a high level of attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

• HR certification: SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR

Work Location: This position is onsite five days per week at our client's manufacturing facility in Wellsville, PA. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
