Bartender

POSITION: Bartender DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Director of Food & Beverage FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service while maintaining a positive guest experience Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies Follow all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standards Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service while maintaining a positive guest experience Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies Follow all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standards Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Preferred restaurant experience Skills And Abilities Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work. Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money. Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures. Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance. Must be able to stand for the duration of shift. Must be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards. Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times. Strong knowledge of sanitary practices. Work ethics encourage strong urgency and quality in a team environment. Attention to detail.
