Senior Executive Process Consultant - Limited Term

Position Summary Senior Executive Process Consultant – Limited Term (August 2026 – July 2028). The role is a senior member of the UGA Search Group, responsible for managing multiple executive searches, coaching the Process Team, and ensuring strategic and efficient search processes. Location: Athens, Georgia (Athens Area). Work schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation: $50,000+ commensurate with experience. Employment type: Employee, Full Time. Posting open until filled. Responsibilities Manage Onsite Recruiting Process Communicate with UGA constituents and make reservations for hotels, meals, meeting spaces, and candidate accommodations. Manage multiple email accounts and respond regularly to search event inquiries. Plan and schedule candidate interviews with key stakeholder groups and act as liaison for internal and external partners. Conduct internet research to identify and source top qualified candidates through peer and aspirational institutions, associations, nominations, and experts. Escort candidates on campus and perform other support duties. Training and Coaching Coach, mentor, and train members of the Process Management team on best practices and standard operating procedures. Provide professional consultation to employees, supervisors, and management on human resources issues. Communications Maintain relationships with hiring authorities, search chairs, and committee members to communicate timely search information. Manage creation of search‑related materials such as marketing documents, committee documents, and attendee lists. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent. Experience in executive search or related administrative role. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to provide high‑level customer service and maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email. Coaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Deliver work on time and work independently with discretion and judgment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent organizational skills. Communicate effectively at all levels of a large, complex organization. Provide high level of customer service in an academic environment. Handle confidential, sensitive information with discretion. Personal accountability and continuous improvement mindset. Adapt to challenging situations and work autonomously. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, email, and report creation.
