Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Eligibility for or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals to support student progress
• Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary planning process
• Provide counseling and education to students and their families as needed
