Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Pediatric Or Rn

Schedule: 12-hour day shift

Requirements:

• Minimum RN experience: 2 years
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; PALS recommended
• Experience in pediatric OR (scrub and circulate)
• EMR: Epic
• Patient ratio experience: 1:1
• Skills in blood/blood product administration, infection control, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time-out)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to patients in the pediatric operating room.
• Assist in both scrub and circulating roles during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• No request for time off allowed during the first week of assignment
• Max 7 days of RTO without manager approval; all RTO must be finalized at the time of submission
