Empower someone's new beginning.
Join our Los Angeles team as our first ever bilingual Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor , providing substance use treatment, recovery support, case management, behavioral health services, and care coordination for individuals experiencing addiction, co-occurring mental health conditions, and housing instability. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $30.96 - $32.58 DOE, non-exempt
Amanecer aims to remove the barriers that have historically kept underserved and marginalized populations from seeking and receiving vital mental health care services. We empower underserved kids, adults, and domestic abuse victims to overcome barriers and significant life challenges through culturally competent, comprehensive mental health, psychiatric, and case management services.
In Spanish, Amanecer roughly translates to "New Beginning". We use that phrase to describe the meaningful differences our clients see in their lives after treatment. Since 1975, with help from the county, foundations, and donors, we have provided hundreds of thousands of New Beginnings.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT SUD COUNSELOR?

To be successful in this role, you will bring a community-based approach, providing telehealth and in-person services to meet clients where they are - in the community, office, and/or home.
