To be considered for this position, you must have schooling or office experience as a Dental Assistant.

Job Type: Full-time. Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Sat 8:00 am- 2:00 pm Hourly + Benefits+ Monthly Bonuses Pay rate $20.00- $23.00

Job Duties: Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays). Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse. Providing patients with Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling). Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling). Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth). Taking needed pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance. Ex: XB, Space maintainer, etc. Chart/enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend software. Must be able to work Saturdays

Requirements: Prior studies and/or experience as a Dental Assistant. Infection Control certificate Radiation Safety certificate Full time availability including 2 Saturdays
