A private family in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced, professional Family Housekeeper to care for their 5,000-square-foot home. The household consists of two adults, two teenagers, and two hypoallergenic dogs. The ideal candidate is an experienced housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-run home and is comfortable working independently.

Compensation & Schedule 

• $35–$40 per hour , depending on experience
• Monday - Friday (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) 

Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping and daily upkeep of the 5,000-square-foot residence
• Thorough cleaning and dusting throughout the home
• Vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining all floors
• Cleaning and maintaining 7 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms
• Kitchen cleaning, dishes, and general kitchen upkeep
• Taking out trash and maintaining household cleanliness
• Family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens
• Changing and maintaining household linens and bedding
• Managing the flow of dry cleaning, including drop-off and pick-up as needed
• Grocery and household shopping as needed
• Restocking household supplies and keeping an eye on inventory
• Occasional dog walking and basic care for the family's two hypoallergenic dogs
• Keeping the home consistently neat, organized, and guest-ready
• Handling day-to-day household needs with discretion and attention to detail
