Warehouse Associate
Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Range: $17.00
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7am-3:30pm; Saturday 7am-12pm; Sunday and Wednesday off; Overtime as needed
What's the Job?
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
- Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
- Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
What's Needed?
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Experience loading and unloading trailers in a warehouse or dock environment
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks
