Infant Lead Teacher – Early Learning Program The Learning Experience – Columbus Circle is seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to lead our infant classroom. This role provides the opportunity to build strong relationships with children and families while creating a nurturing environment that supports each child's earliest developmental milestones. As the classroom leader, you will create engaging experiences that encourage exploration, sensory development, communication, and secure attachments during a child's most important first year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all daily routines for the infant classroom, including feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental activities
• Create a warm, responsive, and engaging learning environment that supports each child's individual needs
• Implement age-appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Observe, document, and communicate developmental milestones with families
• Mentor and support assistant teachers to ensure consistency and high-quality care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and relationship building
• Ensure compliance with all New York State and NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA accepted
• Candidates with 5+ years of professional childcare experience and a high school diploma will also be considered
• Previous infant classroom experience required
• Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
