Position Details Position Title: Part-Time ENVIORNMENTAL SCIENCE Instructor Classification Title: Part-Time Instructors Posting Number: PTI00166P Position Type: Part Time Faculty Posting Type: Internal/External College: Perimeter College Department: Life & Earth Sciences Campus: College-wide Position Description Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Required Education A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of science courses applicable for teaching Environmental Science (Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Biology). Science Education courses are not applicable. Preferred Qualifications and Experience College teaching experience is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE courses on the collegiate level Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning Effective oral and written communication skills Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None Specified. Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
