Emissions Inspector

Emissions InspectorHall Automotive is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Emissions Inspector to perform state-required vehicle emissions inspections in accordance with Wisconsin regulations. This role supports our service department by ensuring vehicles meet compliance standards while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.Key responsibilities include:Perform Wisconsin state emissions inspections accurately and efficientlyOperate emissions testing equipment and inspection softwareVerify vehicle information and inspection eligibility prior to testingRecord results and issue inspection documentation as required by the stateNotify service advisors of failed inspections and any observed concernsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area and equipmentFollow all safety procedures and dealership policiesProvide professional, courteous customer serviceAssist with basic service lane or shop support tasks as neededPhysical requirements include:Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, squatting, and reachingQualifications include:Valid driver's license with acceptable driving recordBasic automotive knowledge and comfort working around vehiclesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow state procedures and compliance guidelinesGood communication and customer service skillsHall Imports/Automotive is a family owned and operated VW and Mazda dealership with a history that stretches over a hundred years.
