Parts Manager

The Parts Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department within an automotive service environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and tires to support both the service department and retail customers. Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the parts department, including parts counter service and inventory control.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of automotive parts, tires, and spare parts to meet service department and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate closely with the service department to forecast parts demand and support timely vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Lead, train, and motivate parts department staff to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement and monitor processes to improve parts availability, reduce costs, and enhance overall department performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to parts handling and storage.
