Job Details

We are seeking a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with a wide range of urgent and complex medical needs.

Job Description:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for Emergency Department patients
• Provide routine and complex care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, treatment effectiveness, and potential side effects
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and clinical outcomes
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and available resources
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and assist with managing changing clinical priorities
• Complete required Emergency Department onboarding, orientation, and annual competency validations

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least one year of Emergency Department or related acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required at the time of hire
• ACLS certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period
• PALS certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period
• TNCC certification required or obtained within the applicable onboarding period
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
